Zhu Yanfeng meets Hyundai Kia First Vice Chairman Chung Eui-Sun

A delegation led by Chung Eui-Sun, First Vice Chairman of Hyundai Kia Automotive Group (Hyundai Kia) visited Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) from August 22 to 23. Zhu Yanfeng, Chairman  of DFM; You Zheng, Vice President of DFM; and He Wei, Chairman of the Trade Union of DFM and Vice Chairman of Dongfeng Yueda Kia (DYK) received the delegation.

At the meeting, the heads of relevant departments of DFM introduced DFM's business situation, the development of the Chinese electric vehicle market and DFM's mobility operations. The delegation introduced Hyundai Kia's strategy for the Chinese market, as well as its R&D and new energy operations.

Currently the Chinese automotive market is in a period of major changes and communication is necessary at this stage, said Zhu. The cooperation between Hyundai Kia and DFM has achieved brilliant results in China, he noted, adding that DFM is willing to explore future cooperation with Hyundai Kia, to further achieve win-win.

Chung hoped that the two sides would strengthen exchanges, and seek cooperation in other fields while jointly operating the joint venture (DYK), to deliver automotive products with higher safety and quality to customers.

The delegation also visited the showroom of DFM Technical Center, and test rode DFM's new energy vehicles and Sharing-Van.
