DFM’s 10-year Milestone

Over the past ten years, with the concept of “self-brand and innovative development, DFM has been committed to accelerating national automobile brands and building self-brand passenger vehicle pattern composed mainly of mainstream fun vehicle AEOLUS, high-end NEV Voyah and luxury off-road NEV MENGSHI, and commercial vehicle pattern of “brand upward”.

 

Mainstream fun vehicle AEOLUS

As the core unit of DFM’s self-brand passenger vehicle, Dongfeng AEOLUS started with the passionate dream of Dongfeng people in 2007. Now, Dongfeng AEOLUS is striding forward to the stage of 200,000 vehicles, and is building an excellent system capability of 300,000 vehicles to present a vigorous new atmosphere with the momentum of catch-up and leap-forward development.

DFM has released a new track brand logo to strengthen the brand positioning of “mainstream technology fun vehicle”; SHINE racing vehicle raced in China Touring Car Championship (CTCC), winning the annual championship for two consecutive years; the intelligent cockpit was upgraded, and the  verse community was founded. The young, intelligent and warm Dongfeng Fengshen brand is marketed to the world.

DFM continued to launch and update series of classic vehicle models: 7 vehicle models within 8 years are the speed of retrofitting and upgrading of classic AX7 vehicle models; 1.5T Chinese family sedan ranks first in sales volume, being the label of the sales volume cornerstone SHINE; the monthly sales volume of more than 7,000 vehicles represents the strength of NEV E70; selling 10,000 vehicles through blind ordering within 24 hours is a remarkable situation that the new strategic vehicle model HUGE is hot before being launched. Through integrating modern automobile technologies, Dongfeng AEOLUS, with original quality as cornerstone of brand development, with technological innovation as driving force of brand development, continues to bring customers a new life of fun vehicle.

High-end NEV Voyah

Voyah, DFM’s first high-end NEV brand, assumes responsibility for “brand upward”. Over more than a year, the first vehicle model Voyah FREE and intelligent luxury multi-purpose NEV Voyah DREAM, with an average transaction price of more than 370,000 yuan, has become the choice of more than 20,000 users.

Voyah has achieved innovations in the process of R&D: innovation in building integrated development model of “new vehicle-making strength” that combines the advantages of traditional automobile enterprises and new forces; innovation in creating ESSA native intelligent NEV architecture and 800V high-voltage platform, innovation in developing battery system and other key core technologies; and innovation in probing the space mode of Voyah to share with users.

Voyah was launched in Norway in March 2022, being the first NEV brand of the central state-owned enterprise to go global. Since 2023, Voyah is to enter Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark and Israel again to expand its overseas stores and lineup of overseas vehicle models. “Let automobile drive dreams and energize a better life”. Voyah, with the user-centered concept, is committed to being the bellwether of Chinese high-end NEV.”

Luxury off-road NEV MENGSHI

On August 27, 2022, luxury off-road NEV brand MENGSHI was officially released. Dongfeng MENGSHI will, together with the ambitious pioneers of the times, build vehicles for dreams, jointly practice the brand proposition of “Fearlessness • Conquest”, and strive to be a leader in the luxury off-road NEV culture.

MENGSHI’s two concept vehicles, M-Terrain and M-Terrain S were released along with the brand. The related vehicle models saluted the majestic military spirit with an agile and majestic manner, and portrayed pure, hardcore and valiant conquering posture.

The release of Dongfeng MENGSHI filled the gap in China’s luxury off-road NEV technology. MENGSHI is China’s first integrated technical solution for luxury off-road NEV, and China’s first off-road NEV skateboard platform. MEGA POWER is the first in China to use more than 1000 horsepower, and can realize the M-ATS off-road all-terrain intelligent solution of “crab” mode.

Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle has laid out 5 major platform commodities, with 29 market segments and 28 star vehicle models, to achieve full coverage of China VI product commodity platform, full coverage of announcement and declaration, full coverage of powertrain field and full coverage of main marketing industries.

In terms of the high-end heavy truck model, Dongfeng GX reaches the world level in indicators; in terms of best-selling vehicle model, Dongfeng Kl and Dongfeng KR, with annual sales volume of more than 40,000 vehicles, are highly praised by the market.

In the fields of NEV and intelligent networking, Dongfeng is committed to promoting the technology brand “Infinite Star” and the ecological brand “Kunyue”, and further transforming from a product manufacturer to a provider of integrated green and intelligent logistics solutions.
