As the second SUV model equipped with Dongfeng Mach dual-engine hybrid system, DONGFENG MAGE made its debut in camouflage. As the strategic SUV model of Aeolus in 2023, DONGFENG MAGE is positioned as a compact SUV for young users. With quick start, DONGFENG MAGE can achieve cold start at low temperature

DONGFENG MAGE’s Dongfeng Mach Power engine integrates the deep friction reduction technology and adopts the high power density ternary system cell. Through the tests at the low temperature of - 40 ℃, DONGFENG MAGE performs well without startup delay to enter a good running state, stable and quite at idle speed.

In addition, due to ITM (Integrated Thermal Management) technology, the water temperature and oil temperature of DONGFENG MAGE quickly increase after start-up, and the engine quickly enters the optimal working temperature; the heating fills the entire driving and riding space in a short time, so that the passengers can face the extremely cold environment easily.

The ice and snow environment tests the driving performance of the vehicle, which requires extremely high chassis quality.  d on Dongfeng DSMA 2.0 platform, DONGFENG MAGE has gone through forward development and adjustment of CTCC champion team, and benefited from the perfect layout of the front and rear axle weights that are infinitely close to 50:50. In the tests, with the better dynamic performance and excellent responsivity and cornering speed in the ice and snow road, DONGFENG MAGE has always been maintained a stable and leisurely attitude in the ice and snow road to pass the three major ice and snow subjects: snow dynamics, maneuvering stability track and ice and snow circle.

In addition, DONGFENG MAGE’s suspension of professional racecar genes, with a reasonable balance between comfort and maneuverability, effectively filters vibration caused by various pits and bumps in the ice and snow road, and deals easily with the sharp turns in the snow. In order to effectively deal with the reduction of tire adhesion in the ice and snow road, DONGFENG MAGE can prevent the vehicles from slipping, losing stability and losing control by using advanced ESC (Electronic Stability Controller). With the working temperature ranging from -40℃ to 120℃, DONGFENG MAGE can ensure the stable operation of the system in both extremely cold and hot environments. When DONGFENG MAGE turns in the ice and snow road quickly, DONGFENG MAGE’s ESC system intervenes through the wheel-end pre-pressurization timely, thereby reducing the risk of high-speed runaway and ensuring the safety of drivers and passengers at all times.

In terms of product reliability, engineers perform the user-oriented durability test under various low temperature driving scenarios to comprehensively inspect the vehicle performance, ensuring that users can drive safely.

In the extremely cold environment of Heihe River in winter, DONGFENG MAGE will perform durability tests of ultra-long endurance mileage, and hundreds of chassis tests and dynamic tests under different road conditions, such as ice and snow test field, general highway, urban highway and expressway. Due to excellent performance and vehicle reliability of Dongfeng Mach Power, DONGFENG MAGE still has excellent quality performance and driving experience in harsh natural environment under extremely cold test environment and strict test standards.
