In 2015, DFM's new energy vehicle sales reached 20,053 units, up 222.45 percent year on year, including 15,114 electric vehicles, up 1,200 percent year on year. DFM refreshed two records (annual new energy vehicle sales of over 20,000 units and annual electric vehicle sales of over 10,000 units) in 2015, showing that DFM's exploration of launching quality products, seizing policy opportunities and renovating marketing modes is gradually functioning).
In recent years, DFM has successively developed a series of new energy products such as hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles, accumulated the core technologies of parts such as battery, motor and controller, applied for over 370 patents, reached the commanding heights of technologies, and accomplished the mass production of critical parts such as controller. DFM's models, such as DFM E30L EV and DongFeng Tianyi EV, were included in "China New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Project". E30 Project won 102 national patents. Tianyi EV is compatible with electric power, plug-in hybrid power and PV-generated power.
